Fairfield by Marriott Tochigi Motegi

Only in Japan could you find such a lovely hotel on a freeway. Similar to other Fairfield Hotels I’ve stayed in the US in terms of rooms/layout but this one was much more loved. Pristine condition, spotlessly clean, lovely common areas (with microwave, oven, coffee etc - great for families). The staff were beyond helpful and attentive. I stayed there to travel to Mashiko which was a disappointment but this hotel was a lovely bonus.

The location.. was right next to the eateries and convenience store across the road.. my son loved the play area at the eateries..

Location was peaceful, very pretty. So good to be outside of big cities.

The room is clean and modern with a nice & comfortable bed and all the facilities you need during your stay. The hotel has a microwave, a free coffee machine, and a relaxing outdoor space on the 1st floor. You can walk to 7-11 within 2 minutes, and there are local restaurants, bakeries, markets across the road as well. Overall, a very nice stay for us.
